How to Download and Install Microsoft Office via setup.office.com

For Microsoft Office Home & Business and Home & Student licenses, Microsoft utilizes the official activation portal at setup.office.com.

Step 1: Sign in with Your Microsoft Account

1. Open your web browser and navigate to https://setup.office.com/.
2. Sign in using your personal Outlook, Hotmail, or Live account. (If you don't have one, create a free account).

Step 2: Enter Your Key

1. Type your 25-character product key provided in your WindowsKey order email.
2. Select your Country and preferred Language.
3. Click Next. The key will bind permanently to your Microsoft account.

Step 3: Download and Install

Once redeemed, click Install to download the official Click-to-Run installer. Run the file, and Office will install in the background automatically.
